‘Conan’ Returning To Comic-Con In 2017

TBSConan and its host Conan O’Brien will return to Comic-Con next year, the network confirmed tonight. It will mark the third year his late-night show will tape from San Diego during the convention.

This year, O’Brien’s show has taped in the afternoons at Spreckles Theater since Wednesday and wraps tomorrow with the cast of HBO’s Game Of Thrones.

Tonight, Conan hosted the cast of Suicide Squad — including Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Cara Delevingne, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Karen Fukuhara, Jay Hernandez and Adam Beach — which invaded Hall H earlier in the day during the Warner Bros presentation that O’Brien moderated. (Best line of tonight’s monologue: “The cast of Suicide Squad is here. To celebrate the release of Suicide Squad, there was a Harley Quinn costume contest. I didn’t even have to try and I came in second.”)

Earlier in the week, guests from San Diego included the cast of HBO’s Silicon Valley, the CW’s superheroes, Sausage Party voice actor Nick Kroll and Weird Al Yankovic.
