Coco Yuen wants to expand her beauty business
21 Feb - Former LemonBeez and Girls' Sample member, Coco Yuen is proving that she is more than just a pretty face by establishing her own beauty salon business.
As reported on Mingpao, Coco, who is known more for her relationship with casino tycoon Stanley Ho's son Mario Ho than her own showbiz career, shared that the business has been around for three years before she joined.
"My business partner asked me if I would like to join in the past, but since I was staying in Hong Kong most of the time before, I didn't consider the offer. That is until last year, when I had more time to stay in Beijing for work," she said.
Coco said that the salon already has three branches in Beijing, Shandong, and Suzhou.
"In addition to beauty salons, we are also working with a research institute in the United States to launch our own skincare products. We have invested more than an eight digit sum for this," she shared.
She also revealed that they are currently preparing to bring the salon to Hong Kong, while another one is in the works in Shanghai.
Coco said that their target is to get the company listed in the stock exchange.
"Of course, it would be no simple matter. We will need a lot of time to arrange for this to happen. But this is a dream of everybody who has a business," she added. When asked if her boyfriend has given her support for her business, Coco stressed that Mario has been giving her spiritual and emotional support.
