Coco Yuen denies relying too much on family's wealth
21 Feb - Coco Yuen has dismissed rumours saying that her wealthy family has helped her a lot in her beauty salon business, and enabled her to open more branches in just several years.
As reported on Mingpao News, earlier, it was reported that Coco, who is currently dating casino tycoon Stanley Ho's son Mario, comes from a wealthy family herself. It is said that the Yuen family is rich enough to enable Coco to buy herself a sports car with a credit card.
However, when asked about it recently, Coco responded, "Who said that? I want to know who that person is. I have never done such a thing. In fact, I can't even buy one with my card."
However, Coco, who is also a graduate of Sydney's University of Technology, admitted that her family has helped a little in her beauty salon investment, although most of the money came from her own pocket.
"It's important to me. My family initially opposed to my decision to become an entertainer. But now that I am becoming a businesswoman, they are very supportive of me," she said.
