Claudine Barretto to star in new movie with Piolo Pascual
26 Apr – Claudine Barretto is set to reunite with Piolo Pascual in a new movie.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actress confirmed the news recently on "Tonight with Boy Abunda", saying that the upcoming project will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina of "A Second Chance" fame.
"I will be doing a movie this end of June or July in Florence with Piolo," she said.
No further details have been given by the actress.
The new movie will mark Barretto's second attempt to return to showbiz, after her previous comeback plans had to be postponed when she fell ill in 2015 and had to undergo numerous operations.
"This time I really want to work. Last time I did "Etiquette for Mistresses", I got sick. It's something that I'm not yet ready to talk about yet. I couldn't work. Now, I'm okay," she assured.
