Claudine Barretto is glad to return to showbiz
11 Sep – Claudine Barretto recently admitted that she is excited to make her return to showbiz after several years of hiatus.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actress, who was recently seen in an episode of "Maalaala Mo Kaya" three years since her last television show, stated that she felt safe and happy being in front of the camera.
It is noted that Barretto previously made her acting comeback through the 2015 movie, "Etiquette for Mistresses", but took another break soon after due to her health situation.
"I am okay now. Hopefully this time it will be continuous. My children are very supportive of my work. This is the phase in my life where it feels like God is saying, 'You've been through so much, this time, I will give you the desires of your heart'," said Barretto.
She also expressed her gratitude to all of her fans who continue to shower her with their support despite her long break.
Barretto is set to star in a new ABS-CBN drama, "Sa Pusod Ng Dagat". She is also currently working on Cathy Garcia-Molina's new movie with Piolo Pascual.
"I want it to be a movie that everyone will remember, that my kids will be proud of and will be appreciated by generations to come," she said.
