Dale is reportedly the one who broke things off with Clare because he’s not ready for marriage.
Clare Crawley and Dale Moss have officially broken up, which—if you’re someone who obsessively follows Bachelor Nation fan accounts—shouldn’t be that surprising. And while Dale was quick to confirm the split on Instagram, Clare still hasn’t made a public statement.
“She’s trying to focus on herself right now but is completely devastated,” a source tells E! News, adding that Dale is the one who “broke it off.”
“Clare and Dale were taking time apart and were working it out, but it led to a definite split,” the source explains. “Dale felt that he is not ready for marriage and was not ready to move to Sacramento for Clare. They were making a lot of plans that Dale could not commit to.”
Apparently, Clare “hopes they can rekindle in the future,” but tbh, Dale’s definitive Insta statement spoke volumes. In case you missed it, he wrote, “I wanted share with you all that Clare and I have decided to go our separate ways. We appreciate the love and support we’ve received from so many people, but this is the healthiest decision for both of us at this time.”
