The Circle US has found a new home, moving from Manchester to Atlanta, Georgia.
One of Netflix's longest-running reality TV programmes, The Circle has relocated to the US after filming five seasons in the UK. The show, which originally aired on Channel 4, has recently wrapped production on a sixth that's expected to start streaming next spring (via Deadline).
A seventh season has also been filmed.
The format of the show sees a line-up of players move into separate apartments within the same building.
They are isolated from the outside world and are not allowed to meet or communicate face-to-face, but can instead interact via a social platform that give them the chance to portray themselves in any way they want.
Each week, contestants are rated by their fellow players, with the lowest-rated being eliminated.
The apartments used for filming in Manchester have now been converted back to regular flats, leaving The Circle US in need of a new, permanent home that may host future seasons too.
It is understood that the Atlanta building is larger than the one in Manchester, not just offering accommodation for both cast and crew, but also offering space for the control room and editing bays under one roof.
The Circle is Netflix's latest reality show to move production to Georgia, already home to another popular title in the reality TV scene, Love Is Blind.
The Circle season six will land on Netflix in spring 2024.
