Cik B unwilling to let Datuk Seri Vida marry a younger man
14 Sep – Teen performer Cik B recently revealed that she is still unwilling to accept her mother's relationship with her younger boyfriend no matter what the two parties said.
Cik B, real name Edlynn Zamilleen, whose mother is the famous cosmetic entrepreneur Datuk Seri Vida, stated that the age gap between her 49 year-old mother and her choice of partner, Iqbal Zulkefli is just too big, with the latter only aged 27. Her mother's real name is Hasmiza Othman.
"Why would he fall for an older woman? There must be a reason for that. And I am against mum wanting another child. My mother is known to fall in too deep whenever she's in love," she said.
Cik B also admitted that she is not on good terms with Iqbal, and that even her mother would often argue with him.
"I don't want to say too much although there's a lot on my mind. I'll just keep it to myself," she added.
Asked if she knew about the relationship, the singer stated that she thought that it was just for publicity at first.
"I really do hope it's nothing but a marketing gimmick. If she wants to marry him, I hope she's happy. She can do whatever she wants. But I really don't want her to marry him," she said.
Datuk Seri Vida previously told the media that she would be marrying her said former personal assistant in December, but that she is worried about her children not accepting the news.
