Chu Pak Hong won't think too much about winning Best Actor

8 Oct - Although he is nominated in the Best Actor category at the upcoming Golden Horse Awards, Hong Kong actor Chu Pak Hong stated that he will not think too much about his chance to win the said award.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who has been nominated for his role in the movie, "My Prince Edward", said that while it would be great to win, it is difficult to say about his chances.

"It's hard to predict since it would be based on the judges' taste," he said.

He also believes that his fellow contender Ben Yuen would also have a greater chance to win the said award than him. Ben, who is nominated for his role in "Suk Suk", previously won Best Supporting Actor for his role in "Tracey" last year.

"I have known him for a long time and we have worked together in stage plays before. He is very experienced and the chances for him to win is great. Being nominated is good enough for me, I won't think too much about it," he said.

Chu and Ben will be facing competition from the likes of Ben's "Suk Suk" co-star Cheung Ka Nin (also known as Tai Bo), as well as "A Sun" stars Wu Chien-ho and Chen Yi-wen.

The upcoming Golden Horse Awards will be held in November in Taipei.
