  • Prince George and Princess Charlotte have now officially finished school and nursery for the Christmas break, according to reports.

  • The little royals will be getting ready to celebrate Christmas with the rest of the royal family at Sandringham Estate in the coming days.

  • Their parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William, reside in Anmer Hall in Norfolk some of the time, which is where the Cambridges will be staying for the festive season.

As Christmas fast approaches, everyone's schedules have been winding down ahead of the holiday season. And it's now been revealed that adorable little royals, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, have already broken up for the Christmas break. Basically, Christmas has officially started in the Cambridge household.

"Thursday was Prince George’s last day of school before the holidays," a source tells BAZAAR.com. Even though many schools haven't finished as yet, Prince George's early break means that the Cambridges have plenty of time to prepare for the holiday season, which they will be spending with Queen Elizabeth and other members of the royal family at Sandringham Estate.

The Express reported earlier this week that Princess Charlotte, who attends Willcocks Nursery School in Kensington, London, has already finished for the Christmas break. People even speculated that Charlotte may have taken to the stage in the school nativity before the Christmas break started, but there's been no confirmation on that as yet.

However, Prince William previously revealed that he'd enjoyed watching Prince George in a school nativity play saying (via People), "I went to my boy’s nativity play. It was funny. He was a sheep."
