Christina Anstead "Couldn't Be Happier" About Ex-Husband Tarek El Moussa's Engagement
By now, you've probably heard the news that HGTV's Tarek El Moussa is engaged to Selling Sunset's Heather Rae Young. Last month, shortly after the couple hit one year of dating, the house flipping expert popped the big question to his now-fiance.
However for El Moussa, not having the support of his ex-wife Christina Anstead could make things pretty uncomfortable. After all, the exes have been maintaining an amicable relationship over the last few years as they continue to share their two kids and host Flip or Flop together (ahem, we've got your season nine deets here!).
Today, in an exclusive interview with E!, Anstead was asked the question we've all been wondering since the news broke: Did she send any warm wishes to El Moussa? "Of course! And I couldn't be happier for them," she told the outlet. "They're very happy."
Phew! Well, we're glad to see Anstead is sending her love. The Christina on the Coast star and El Moussa has separated in back 2016. In 2018, Anstead got re-married to English presenter Ant Anstead, who also expressed his best wishes for El Moussa. "Congratulations you two!! (What took you so long .... 😊) ❤️," Ant commented on HGTV's Instagram announcement of the engagement. Fans took delight in his comment, excited to see that there was no bad energy within this blended family.

In terms of where El Moussa's kids stand, his nine-year-old daughter Taylor was the first to know about his plans to pop the big question. In fact, El Moussa described his daughter's reaction as “the most excited I’ve ever seen her," adding that she couldn’t stop texting him to ask if he had done it yet.
