Back in November 2023, Taylor Swift broke one of her sparkling Louboutin heels during one of her “The Eras Tour” concerts in Rio de Janeiro. A lucky Brazilian fan named Felipe Conrado, who had VIP tickets to all three of Swift’s shows in the city, caught the broken heel from the audience and went immediately viral on social media.
Shortly after the episode, Conrado revealed he was planning to sell the heel to raise funds for his cousin, Ângela Beatriz, who was diagnosed with melanoma and needed help to pay for her treatment. Swifties all over the world sympathized with their story and started online fundraising campaigns to help Beatriz.

The story caught Christian Louboutin’s attention.
On Thursday, Conrado shared a photo of a handwritten letter he received from the designer himself on his Instagram account.
“Here at Louboutin, we really have appreciated the efforts you have made to fund your cousin’s treatment. This is why I am happy to match the funds you already raised for her care. May your family find health and peace,” Louboutin wrote.
Conrado showed his gratitude for Louboutin on his account and revealed he doesn’t plan to sell Swift’s broken heel anymore. Instead, he plans on framing it.
To FN, Conrado revealed the online fundraising campaigns only covered the first three months of Beatriz’s treatments and Louboutin’s donation brought “hope and tranquility” to the family.
Taylor Swift performed in custom Christian Louboutin styles during her “The Eras Tour” in 2023. The high luxury house produced a range of silhouettes in a variety of shapes and heels heights for her.
Swift is currently in Japan performing a series of concerts from her tour. She is expected to be back in U.S. territory on Sunday, where she should attend the Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas to support her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs Travis Kelce.
