6 Aug – Christian Bables recently admitted that he was deeply saddened over what had happened to ABS-CBN especially since the network was the first to see and have confidence in his talent.
The actor, who spoke to Push about the network shutdown, stated that the network really took a gamble on him, adding, "They were the first to open the door for me, so I got to where I am now."
At the same time, he was heartbroken to see that the people he had worked with in the network losing their jobs because of it.
"It hurts to see people who have become my family, who are worried about where they will get their livelihood in the middle of the pandemic," he said.
As for Bables himself, the actor said that two of his upcoming projects with the network have been postponed, but that it was less significant compared to what the other employees are facing.
"But I believe that God will not abandon them," he added.
