Chrissie Chau thanks fans for supporting "Realm"

13 Jul – Although she wasn't able to join the cast of "Deep in the Realm of Conscience" at their finale event, Chrissie Chau recently took to social media to express her delight over the viewership success that the drama achieved throughout its broadcast.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who played the role of Zheng Chunxi, concubine and rival of Empress Wang in the drama, expressed elation that the drama broke 3.3 billion hits on the streaming site Tencent, and thanked the fans for their support.

She also thanked producer Mui Siu Ching for giving her the chance to film the drama.

"This is the first time that I tried a palace drama, and there were a few shortcomings. I will learn from both the good and the bad. I learned a lot from the shooting process and grew up with Chunxi. It's such a valuable experience," she said.

Chrissie also hopes to meet up with her fellow co-stars soon.

It is noted that the actress has not been able to promote the drama with the rest of the cast members since day one due to her management company, HMV Digital China's legal conflict with TVB, which saw many of its stars like Louis Cheung and Chrissie being left out of promotional events of their own dramas.

While many thought that TVB would make an exception for her during the finale, it was speculated that the actress was absent from the event due to the ongoing ban.
