Chrissie Chau to star in her first TVB drama
27 Oct - Chrissie Chau is set to make her TVB debut through producer Mui Siu Ching's new drama, "Palace Scheme" (working title).
According to On CC News, the actress, who will work alongside Annie Liu, Nancy Wu, Candy Lo and Steven Ma, reportedly will play the role of an imperial concubine who will be involved in the fight among the concubines for the emperor's love.
Speaking to the media about the role, Chrissie said she decided to take the offer as she found it interesting.
"The character has something to do and I will be working with co-stars that I have never worked with. I hope we'll have chemistry," she said.
Chrissie also revealed that she will be travelling to Hengdian for the outdoor shoot soon, although the script has yet to be sent to her.
As for action scenes, the actress said that she already has a martial arts background and doesn't mind it at all.
