  • Chris Pratt reportedly felt insecure while he was with his ex-wife, Anna Faris.

  • Now that Chris is with Katherine Schwarzenegger, his self-confidence is apparently in a much better place.

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are in a really good place rn—they’re married! But before Chris and Katherine got together, Chris was with his ex-wife, Anna Faris, for eight years. They ended up splitting in 2017 and it was incredibly sad, of course. But now, reports are coming out about how Chris was feeling while he was with Anna.

An Us Weekly source revealed that Chris’s self-confidence levels were not in a great place when he and Anna were together. “Chris was very insecure about himself before he started dating Katherine,” their insider said. “He never felt ‘good enough’ for Anna Faris, and then when their relationship started to go downward, he was angry and not liking who he was.”

When Chris and Anna split, TMZ reported that Anna wanted more children but Chris wasn’t ready for that. TMZ’s source said Chris “had some life-changing experiences that required him to adjust the balance between family and career,” adding, “When he married Anna back in 2009, she was much bigger than him. He’s now at the top of the Hollywood food chain, and with that comes opportunities that take him all over the world, shooting movies that take him away from home for months at a time.”

The good news here is that Chris and Katherine seem to be thriving now, and Anna’s fully supportive. “Katherine really changed all of that and Chris has a much healthier self-image now,” Us’s source added. “He goes out with friends more and is overall just much happier. Chris is much more laid-back with Katherine and is so comfortable and happy.”
