The battle of the Chrises is a tough one, but Chris Pine has slowly been climbing up the ranks. For many, his turn on Saturday Night Live had him singing into our hearts. He even cleared up some of the confusion about which Chris he actually was with his opening monologue!

And to prove just how cool and relaxed the entertainer is, he even admitted on Good Morning America that he now uses a flip phone and a record player to simplify his life. Basically, he’s a pretty cool guy. Who wouldn’t want to love him and claim him as the best?

So what has Chris done now?

Well, in promotion for his film Wonder Woman, Chris has said some pretty amazing things. While talking to Vanity Fair, Chris was eager to agree with the film’s star Gal Gadot when she explained the importance of the movie. For many, Wonder Woman isn’t just another superhero story.

As Gal puts it, this film shows everyone what women can do. You’d think a man in a movie like this would end up saying something wrong, right? Well, not with Chris. He’s been pretty spot on about why Wonder Woman is an important movie for girls to see.

The actor explained that the story of Diana is one that is very different from what we’re used to see in our superhero and action films. After all, most our superhero films tend to lead more towards men fighting about what they should do rather than actually doing it. (We’re looking at you Captain America: Civil War.)

He said, “We’ve seen stories told through the male prism a lot. Men are not all that smart. We tend to want to kill each other all the time, so it’s nice to finally have a fresh, female perspective with important themes.”

So now that you know how great Chris is, you’re probably thinking he’s the best Chris, right?

So go out and enjoy him as Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman. He’s wonderful in it and the movie is very important for people of all ages!
