Chris Isaak Cancels Tour Due to Illness

Chris Isaak has been forced to sideline all remaining tour dates for 2016 as he recovers from pneumonia.

The 60-year-old rocker issued a statement on Monday, assuring fans that he's on track to making a full recovery and will be back on the road by next year.

"I'm a pretty healthy, clean-living rock and roller," he said. "It's really unusual for me to cancel shows but the good news is, I'm on the mend and look forward to getting back with my band as soon as I'm 100 percent. I want to thank my fans in advance for their good wishes."

Isaak had 17 shows remaining through the end of 2016, including stops in Boston, Washington DC, Salt Lake City, and Los Angeles. Tickets can exchanged at their point of purchase.

Isaak's most recent album, First Comes the Night was released one year ago via Vanguard Records.
