Chow Yun Fat takes a break from acting
21 Jul - Now that "Cold War 2" has been released, Hong Kong actor Chow Yun Fat revealed that he will be taking a hiatus from acting for the rest of the year.
As reported on Tencent, the actor, who made his Hong Kong comeback in 2013 after years of focusing on his career in mainland and Hollywood, stated that he may need to slow down for his own health.
"It's not that I don't want to do movies anymore. I was offered many scripts and I really like them. I just want to be healthier. I've worked hard in the summer and I just want to have fun come winter," said the actor.
However, Chow said that he will return next year for more films, that is if the studios still want him for the roles.
When asked what he is planning to do during his break, Chow said that he just wants to travel around Hong Kong.
