Greek-born French actress Ariane Labed has landed a major role -- as the face of Chloé's new fragrance.

The star will front the campaign for the fashion and beauty house's upcoming scent, which is scheduled for release this March, WWD reports.

"The woman depicted in this new campaign is free-spirited, strong and adventurous," the publication reports Labed as saying. "She takes on the world, its beauty and is curious about everything it has to offer. In that sense she is very inspiring to me."

Meanwhile, the brand's chief executive officer Geoffroy de le Bourdonnaye told the site: "Ariane combines different cultures and displays multiple talents," adding: "She loves to cross new frontiers and encounter the world."

In taking on the job of Chloé fragrance poster girl, Labed -- whose film catalogue includes "Alps," "The Lobster" and "Assassin's Creed" -- joins an exclusive club. Previous prefume ambassadors for the prestigious French house include actress and model Clémence Poésy, who was recruited to be the face of the "Love Story" scent upon its creation in 2014, and actress Dree Hemingway, who has fronted the "Chloé Signature" fragrance campaign in the past.
