  • Chip and Joanna Gaines released a new special on Discovery+.

  • Breaking New Ground: Expanding the Silos showcases the gorgeous transformation of their Waco, TX grounds, and fans were floored by the changes.

Our favorite Fixer Upper hosts are working on a bunch of different projects ahead of their Magnolia Network debut in July 2021. For starters, after taking a three-year hiatus from the show, Chip and Joanna Gaines brought Fixer Upper back in January 2021, though this time, it’s only available on Discovery+. But that’s not all. Most recently, the couple debuted their special, Breaking New Ground: Expanding the Silos, which showcases the renovations they’ve been working on since fall 2019.

“We’ve been working on the Silos grounds for over a year now, and it’s finally complete,” Joanna wrote in the caption of a clip of the special. “My favorite part of this project was bringing the historic church back to life and Chip’s favorite—the Wiffle ball field.”

Instead of just showing you before and after photos, the special walks you through the whole process so that viewers can see all the work that went into it.

Naturally, fans are, well, fans of Chip and Joanna’s latest work.

“Waco was a by-word in Texas. One couple, well invested into their city, changed the name and identity of a whole city,” one Instagram user wrote.

“You two are the reason I know about Waco, Texas,” another chimed in. “[It’s] on my bucket list to visit once out international borders are open!”

“It’s so exciting what you’re doing for Waco,” someone else exclaimed. “I won’t be surprised if one day Chip will become mayor!”

“Time for another visit to Waco!” another commented.

And the love and well wishes just kept trickling in. Needless to say, we can’t wait for July 15 and the full debut of Magnolia Network. If this special is any indicator, we’re in for a treat!
