All you need are: Sunshine Hokkaido Milk Bread, Dijon mustard, maple syrup, brie, Granny Smith green apple, butter, chicken thigh, salt, black pepper, minced garlic and cumin powder.

Despite Michelle’s busy schedule, she insists that she cooks for her 3 children to ensure that they only eat the best. In this recipe, Michelle have used Sunshine’s Hokkaido milk bread as it is creamy and soft which her children really love! Did you know that 3 slices of Hokkaido Milk Toast Bread contain as much calcium as 1 glass of milk? Calcium is one of the most important nutrients that keeps children healthy and happy. It builds strong bones and it keeps the nerves and muscles working for any activities they are involved.
First, let’s marinate the chicken and let it chill for an hour. Remove from chiller for 20 minutes before cooking it on medium heat on a sauté pan. Once it’s fully cooked through, remove it from the pan and shred the chicken.
Combine mustard and maple syrup
Spread the sauce on the bread
Next, combine mustard and maple syrup and spread it on the bread.
Lay a few slices of Granny Smith green apple.
Lay the shredded chicken and a few slices of apple on top. Add 3 slices of brie and top if up with a slice of bread. On both sides of each sandwich, spread a thin layer of softened butter.
Grill the sandwich in a large sauté pan
It’s time to grill the sandwich! Heat up a large sauté pan and place the sandwich in the middle before covering it with a lid.
Toast both sides of the bread until it turns golden brown!
Cook until both sides of the sandwich turn golden brown and until the cheese has completely melted.

Ingredients
2slices Sunshine Hokkaido Milk Bread
1 1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1tsp maple syrup
1/2block briesliced into 6 pieces
1/2 Granny Smith green applesliced thinly, as desired
1tbsp buttersoftened to room temperature
1 boneless chicken thighremove fats
Chicken marinade
1/2tsp salt
1/4tsp black pepper
1/4tbsp minced garlic
1/4tsp cuming powder
Instructions
Marinate and cook the chicken
Marinate the chicken thigh with salt, pepper, garlic and cumin powder. Cling wrap and chill for at least 1 hr.
Remove from the chiller and let it sit in room temperature for 20 mins to return to room temperature.
On a sauté pan, heat up 1 tbsp oil. Add in chicken and let it cook for 3 mins on medium heat. Flip and cook the other side till it’s fully cooked through.
Remove chicken from pan and let it rest of 5 mins. Shred it with 2 forks.
Prepare the spread and assemble the sandwich
In a small bowl, combine mustard and maple syrup. Spread it on the bread.
Lay the shredded chicken.
Add 3 slices of apple, or as desired, on each sandwich.
Add another 3 slices of cheese on top of the apple and close it with a slice of bread.
On both sides of each sandwich, spread a thin layer of softened butter.
Grill the sandwich and serve
Pre-heat a large sauté pan over low heat. When it’s hot, add in the sandwich. Cover with a lid and cook for about 2 minutes until the underside is brown.
Flip the sandwich carefully, cover, and cook for another 2 minutes until the second side is golden brown and the cheese has completely melted.
Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately.
