- With more publicity directed to the fact that "Ang Babaeng Humayo" was Charo Santos-Concio's acting comeback, it was almost a surprise to many the fact that John Lloyd Cruz was also in it and playing a transvestite didn't make the headlines.

However, according to Santos, it was what they have wanted when the movie was confirmed.

"That was part of the plan," said Santos, according to Push. "We actually asked the director not to talk about John Lloyd's role in the movie because we didn't want to preempt the premiere screening of the film."

"After all, he is really great in this movie," she added.

In "Ang Babaeng Humayo", Cruz played the role of a transvestite named Hollanda, who is out trying to do one last good deed before she died. Hollanda is one of the characters that Santos' Horacia met while on her revenge mission.

When asked how it felt like to work with Cruz, Santos sang praises of the actor, saying, "He is very serious about his craft. The moment he is in make-up, he is in character and you don't talk to him as John Lloyd. He was even in character all the way up to the last shooting day."
