Charmaine Fong is doing well post-divorce
9 Nov – Charmaine Fong recently assured that she is fine, two weeks after announcing that she and Japanese model Shingo Yasuda have called it quits on their marriage.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who made her first appearance since her divorce at a performance in West Kowloon recently, stated that she would like to focus on creating new songs and bring more positive energy through her works from now on.
"Life is okay right now. My son and I are living in Hong Kong. Everything is happening naturally and I am happily moving on with my life," she said.
Charmaine also stated that she would rather not make further comments about her divorce, since she has already explained herself on social media last month.
"I am just enjoying my time with my son and maintaining a good relationship with my ex," she said, adding that her son Luca is just a bundle of positive energy in her life.
Asked if she would compose a song for her son, she smiled and responded, "I don't rule out that possibility. I used to compose songs for my mother."
Charmaine announced her divorce from Shingo back on 23 October. The couple had spent much time apart for the past year due to the pandemic.
