Charlize Theron's New J'adore Ad Is the Girl Powered Fragrance Campaign You Need in Your Life

When is a fragrance campaign more than just a fragrance campaign? When Charlize Theron gives us life by serving equal amounts of female empowerment and glamour while fronting Dior's iconic J'adore scent. She's been the face of the fragrance for almost a decade now, and has starred in a number of campaigns, but this one just might be our favorite yet. Shot by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, the spot concludes with an empowering "we are gold" tagline, and Theron embodies the dynamic nature of the jasmine, cedar, and pear notes against a striking desert backdrop.

"The J'adore woman is multifaceted. She has elegance and is bold," Theron tells InStyle exclusively. "I like to think that as a woman, I recognize my own strengths, and these help make me feel beautiful on a daily basis. The powerful, confident vibe Theron gives off is definitely contagious, and in between shots, the star took a moment to muse over her experiences working with inspiring women eager to shatter that glass ceiling. "As a woman, I was lucky to have a strong female figure in my life: my mother," she adds. "From my earliest childhood, she taught me to have self-confidence, and not to be afraid."
