Changi Airport welcomes Singaporeans to preview newly-built T4
Singaporeans have something new to look forward to at Changi Airport, as locals are being invited to a sneak peek at the newly-built Terminal 4 before operations begins in the latter half of 2017.
From 7 to 20 August 2017, visitors will get a chance to explore various points of interests in the the 195,000 square metre, double-storey terminal. A specially-created T4 Open House app is also available to guide visitors along the tour route, during which participants can play location-based in-app games to win e-vouchers to spend at Changi Airport’s retail and food outlets.
Besides in-app games, visitors also stand to win flight tickets from airlines operating from T4 in daily lucky draws, or participate in the Photo of the Day contest to win other prizes.
Poh Li San, vice-president of T4’s programme management office, said, “The Open House visitors will be among the first to learn about and experience the innovations and “wow” features at T4 – facial recognition technology, integrated duty-free shopping, kinetic art displays, a Heritage Zone, and specially-curated sculptures, among many others.”
Admission is free, but visitors will have to register online (via T4 Open House) from 5 July 2017. A total of 200,000 tickets are available, and each sign-up can register up to six participants.
