By now you’ve probably heard of Jordan Peele’s new film Get Out. The film, which takes a modern-day look at race and racism in America, was so powerful that Chance the Rapper paid for showings of Get Out in Chicago yesterday. Seriously — he bought out the theater and told fans to show up with their IDs for a free screening.

Peele, known best for being half of “Key & Peele,” wanted to create a horror-satire movie that’d get people talking — however, when he originally pitched the idea for this film to a producer he knew, he never actually thought it’d get made.

“The caveat is: No one will make this movie,” he said in an interview with Los Angeles Times.

But, make it they did. And the movie currently has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes after racking in over $30 million during just the first three days of its release. No wonder why Chance the Rapper wanted everyone to have the chance to see it.

After that tweet, he likely devised his plan.

And he made sure to let people know that this was an all-day deal.

Even better, he was there to watch it alongside his fans.

Chance the Rapper just gets cooler by the day.

Really, we love the way that Chance the Rapper supports the things he loves. He’s always got a creative and genius idea in mind for promoting the music, movies, projects, and social movements he believes in. We just adore his ability to think outside the box.

You can catch Get Out at your local theater. Even though Chance likely won’t be there, it’ll definitely be worth your while.
