26 Aug – Helen Ng admitted that she was grateful for the presence of husband Chan Wing Chun, whom she said had taken good care of her since she was diagnosed with dermatomyositis.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who spoke about her husband's involvement in her road to recovery, stated that the 65-year-old actor has taken good care of her and the chores in their household due to the fact that she was unable to do a lot of them following her diagnosis.
"Since this is an autoimmune disorder, I can only have a light diet, like eating vegetables and fish to absorb nutrients. But it was hard for me to prepare them on my own, so my husband did it for me," she said.
Asked if she is one happy wife, Helen smiled and said, "Yes, my husband helped me with housework and often holds me whenever I have to take my medicine. Seeing me get better now, he is no longer as worried as before."
It is noted that prior to marrying Helen in 2018, the actor was married to wife Cheng On Lai, who suffered from stroke and died in 2010.
On the other hand, the actor, who celebrated his 65th birthday on 22 August, shared with the media that his birthday wish is for his wife to get better and for the pandemic to subside soon so that he can take her on a holiday.
