In 1991, Celine Dion recorded an iconic duet of the Beauty and the Beast title ballad with Peabo Bryson. Twenty-six years later, she'll be lending her voice to the live-action remake, too.

The music legend won't be singing the same song this time around-Ariana Grande and John Legend have got that covered-but she'll take on a new original track called, "How Does a Moment Last Forever."

"Beauty and the Beast had brought me to where I am today," Dion told Entertainment Tonight. Although she says it's a "privilege" to sing for the Disney film again, she was on the fence about it at first.

"I saw the [new] movie, it's great, but there was something inside of me that was shaking little bit," she explained. "They say, 'So what do you think? Would you consider singing this new Beauty and the Beast song, 30 years later?' and I'm like, 'Uh, I have to listen to it again, because I need to be professional.'"

"And to be honest with you, it's hard for me to commit right now, because I was feeling like [I was] cheating [on] the first Beauty and the Beast," she said. It turns out she was just as attached to the original film as other Disney fans are. But after consulting with her late husband, she made her decision to return.

"I kind of talked to René," Dion said while pointing up. "And he said, 'You should.'"

Dion has no hard feelings about Grande and Legend's new version of the "Beauty and the Beast" ballad she made popular 26 years ago. "I'm so proud," she said.

The new Beauty and the Beast soundtrack releases on the same day as the film, on March 17.
