Celine Dion is adamant that it’s impossible to “go too big” when it comes to fashion.
In recent years, the Canadian superstar has stepped out in a number of eye-catching couture ensembles, with the outfits put together by celebrity stylist Law Roach - the man behind actress Zendaya and singer Ariana Grande's red carpet looks.
Regarding her passion for clothes, Celine has now shared that she simply doesn’t have any boundaries.
“Fashion excites me, it allows me to express myself and to be creative in a way that’s different from music,” she said in an interview which accompanied the announcement that she is the new global brand ambassador for L’Oreal Paris. “From one outfit to another, I can change my style, my persona every day. I love to play with fashion, and I love to take risks. I have the strong belief that you can never go too big.”
Just as Celine expresses herself through her costumes and off-duty outfits, she is excited to encourage individuality through her upcoming campaigns for L’Oreal Paris. For her debut gig with the French cosmetics giant, the mother-of-three will be the face of Excellence Hair Colour, and she is adamant that the partnership has come at the perfect time in her life.
“I want everyone to feel that they have the right to express themselves, whether it is through fashion and beauty, by using their voice or through something else that’s important to them. The world is changing, and L’Oreal Paris is part of that in a positive way since the brand is telling women that there is nothing wrong in realising their dreams and speaking their mind,” the 51-year-old gushed. “As a society, I think we need to embrace that even further. I hope that I can elevate this conversation. I feel that at this stage in my life, I now have a voice. I truly admire what L’Oreal Paris stands for and I’m excited to use my voice to empower everyone to feel beautiful, confident and to learn to embrace themselves.”
