World renowned French-Canadian singer Celine Dion is coming to Singapore to perform here for the first time.

As part of the Celine Dion Live 2018 tour, the Grammy award winner is set to perform on 3 and 4 July at Marina Bay Sands. This is part of the integrated resort’s Sands Live concert series, which has featured performances by iconic stars such as The Rolling Stones.

The Asia Pacific summer tour will see Celine Dion performing for the first time in cities like Singapore, Jakarta, Taipei, Manila and Bangkok. The last time she performed in the region was in 2008 but Singapore fans could only catch her at the nearest concert in Kuala Lumpur.

Dion dominated the pop charts in the 1990s with powerful ballads including “The Power of Love“, “Think Twice“, “Because You Loved Me“, “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now“, “I’m Your Angel” and “My Heart Will Go On”. She is the one of the highest-earning musicians in history with almost 250 million albums sold throughout her more-than-30-year career.

Dion is currently performing her concert residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, which has been running since March 2011. However, she was forced to cancel two concerts this year on doctors’ orders.

Members of her Team Celine official fan club will be able to purchase tickets before the rest of the public through an advance pre-sale. Marina Bay Sands Loyalty card members and Singtel mobile subscribers will also have an opportunity to purchase tickets before the public on-sale date. Detailed dates and ticketing info will be announced soon.
