Cecilia Liu rumoured to be pregnant with first child
19 Oct – Rumours are rife that celebrity couple Nicky Wu and Cecilia Liu are expecting their first baby together.
As reported on ET Today, speculations about the actress' pregnancy sparked recently, after many noticed that the usually busy Cecilia has not been filming any new projects or even appearing at events for the past four months.
It was also revealed that her schedule has been quite light since the end of June, with her studio confirming that they have not arranged any work for the actress since July so that she could enjoy her summer vacation.
Fans also noticed that her recent photos, which she rarely shared since her break, showed Cecilia's face looking much fuller than before.
The speculations of a pregnancy was further fuelled by the fact her situation is similar to that of another mainland actress, Zanilia Zhao. It is noted that Zanilia also took a break in the middle of this year supposedly to "recuperate", only to announce her marriage to actor Feng Shaofeng earlier this week.
On the other hand, others are now claiming that Cecilia may have been pregnant for three months, and that the couple previously underwent IVF in order to have a baby.
Both Nicky and Cecilia have not addressed the rumours at the time of writing.
Cecilia tied the knot with her "Scarlet Heart" co-star Nicky Wu back in 2015 - the first marriage for the actress, and Nicky's second after his previous marriage to Ma Yashu.
