Cecilia Cheung, Jerry Yan, Wu Jinyan to attend Star Awards 2019
Fans of “Yanxi Palace”, you’re in for a treat; breakout star Wu Jinyan who played Wei Yingluo in the period drama series, will be making an appearance at the glitzy awards show on Sunday (14 April).
Screams aside, this year’s show will also be graced by actress Cecilia Cheung, who had shied away from showbiz to give birth to her son. This would mark her first public appearance in Singapore.
Other celebs confirmed are: heartthrob Jerry Yan, Blue Lan, Roger Kwok Chun-on, Bowie Tsang, Tony Sun, Eric Chou and Joyce Cheng.
Eric Chou, Tony Sun, Bowie Tsang and Joyce Cheng are likely to perform on stage.
Star Awards 2019 is in its 25th year and the ceremony honours the best in Singapore’s entertainment industry. Fans can vote for their favourite performer on the microsite before the closing date 7 April.
