Catriona Gray to sell Miss Universe pin for charity
10 Jun – After Angel Locsin with her car and Anne Curtis and her precious luxury bags, it was revealed that Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray is the next to sell her precious item for charity - her Miss Universe pin.
As reported on Push, the news was shared by the charity fundraiser Shop & Share on its Instagram Story, stating, "In December 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand, Miss Universe Philippines Catriona Gray debuted the "slow-mo turn" and Ibong Adarna gown. The Philippines sash was secured over her heart with this pin."
"Of very high sentimental value, Catriona wants to share its significance to another, to benefit her countrymen just as she dedicates her title of Miss Universe. A personal, handwritten note on the Official Miss Universe 2018 Comp-Cad will also accompany the pin," the statement added.
Aside from the said pin, shaped like a beauty queen, Gray will also be auctioning off one of her shoes that she used during a previous endorsement shoot.
The Shop & Share initiative was reignited last month in hopes of aiding the Philippines government in increasing the testing for COVID-19.
