Catriona Gray excited for Bb. Pilipinas 2019
19 Apr – Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray recently admitted that she is excited about this year's batch of Binibining Pilipinas competitors.
As reported on Push, the beauty queen, who will be crowning her successor this June, shared that she is looking forward to seeing all the pageant hopefuls doing their best in an effort to win the crown.
"I'm excited to see how they will shine and how they've taken their perception of their journey and made it their own. Because, if I did anything, I did that, I made my journey my own," she said.
However, Gray admitted that there would be a great pressure for this year's contestants, especially since the country is known for producing winners when it comes to beauty pageants.
"And I have such high hopes for the batch, I think they are amazing batch of women, and I will be there at the show at the coronation night for the Binibining Pilipinas 2019," she enthused.
Gray is only the fourth Filipina to win the Miss Universe crown, following the success of Gloria Diaz (1969), Margie Moran (1973), and Pia Wurtzbach (2015).
