Catriona Gray's life changes drastically after winning Miss Universe
22 Feb – Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray admitted that her life has changed so much since she won the crown.
According to PEP, the actress, who spoke to the media at her homecoming press event, shared that her life changes in an instant as soon as the crown was placed on her head.
"I went from being a voice to the Philippines to a voice to the international audience. With that does come a little bit of pressure but also an amazing opportunity," she said.
Gray added that for the past two months since her victory, she has been carefully navigating her new duty with the guidance of the Miss Universe organisation and the people around her.
When asked about the most challenging part of being a Miss Universe, Gray said that it was being away from home and her family.
"But I also realise that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and even though a year will go by real fast, I really have been busy making plans about things I want to do during my reign. I really hope to leave a positive impact as Miss Universe 2018," she added.
Among the things planned for Gray during her short stay in the Philippines include charity projects with Young Focus, and LoveYourself PH.
