Cathy Garcia-Molina keeps mum on Bea-John movie rumours

18 Feb – Cathy Garcia-Molina is acting coy on the speculations that she will be helming a reunion movie for John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo.

As reported on Push, the filmmaker who was asked about the possibility of a Bea-Lloydie movie in the works during the Ambassadors' Night 2020 recently, only responded, "Hold on. I won't say. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to confirm anything yet."

As to whether she will continue with her plans to retire, the filmmaker responded, "Depends. If I enjoy the quiet, maybe I will proceed with it. But if I miss the industry, of making films, I will return."

Rumours of a reunion project for Alonzo and Cruz sparked recently, after the two stars were spotted dining together at an Indian restaurant. They later appeared for a live script reading of "That Thing Called Tadhana" on Valentine's Day.
