Cathy Garcia-Molina to helm several new films

13 Oct – Despite the pandemic, hitmaker Cathy Garcia-Molina revealed that she has several new films lined up for Philippines' hottest love teams.

As reported on ABS-CBN News, the director, who appeared on the livestream of Nickl Entertainment, shared the news after a viewer asked in the comments about her upcoming projects, adding that she has had three meetings about the upcoming films, and will be helming five projects in the future.

Garcia then revealed the five projects – a Kathniel film, a movie starring Vice Ganda, another project with LizQuen, a reunion film between Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz, as well as a project starring Alden Richards whom she may pair up with Bea Alonzo.

It is noted that the KathNiel project, "After Forever", was supposed to have begun filming earlier this year, but had to be postponed due to the pandemic.

Her last film was the 2019 "Hello, Love, Goodbye", starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards. It is still currently the highest-grossing Philippine film of all time.
