Carrie Symonds is becoming something of a fashion powerhouse since moving into No.10.

The 31-year-old environmentalist, who is Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s girlfriend, travelled to Scotland on Friday to meet with the Queen at Balmoral.

Naturally, she took her sartorial choices seriously for the engagement.

Carrie opted for a transitional style and wore a blue and white tweed shift dress by British label Eponine London as she arrived at Aberdeen airport.

She styled her outfit with a pair of thick black tights and black knee-high boots and carried a black shoulder bag.

She kept her accessories simple wearing a single hair slide, gold hoop earrings and gold rings.

The dress was specially made for the environmentalist campaigner, but looks similar to a shift dress from the label’s Autumn/Winter 2015 collection.

British label Eponine London is known for taking inspiration from the elegant silhouettes of the 1950s and 1960s, and often gives a nod to former US First Lady Jackie Kennedy.

The Duchess of Cambridge added the label to her wardrobe earlier this year when she was pictured wearing a bright green shift dress with pockets when she stopped by Lavender Primary School to celebrate Mental Health Week in February.

Shift dresses are the ultimate feminine piece to own as they whittle in at your waist and are great for defining an hour glass shape. They also have the ability to be universally flattering no matter what season it is.
