It was recently revealed that Boris Johnson and Carrie Symonds are engaged and expecting a baby.

Yesterday, the Prime Minister, 55, and his pregnant fiancée, 31, stepped out together to watch a rugby match.

The senior advisor to ocean conservation charity Oceana wrapped her baby bump, for the Six Nations game between England and Wales at Twickenham Stadium, in a stylish camel coat.

The mum-to-be - who was also wearing a white shirt and hoop earrings - could also be seen showing off her stunning engagement ring, which featured an emerald jewel surrounded by diamonds.

Carrie chatted and laughed in the stands with Boris, in what was their first public appearance since announcing their happy news.

Yesterday, pictures were also released on Twitter of the former Conservative Party head of communications - who is understood to be due to give birth in late May or early June - joining her other half at an International Women’s Day event held at Downing Street.

She wowed in a tiered floral Anthropologie dress and debuted her ring for the first time.

Her pregnancy and engagement were announced last week in a post on her private Instagram account.

Carrie has been praised for her fashion choices since becoming the UK’s ‘first girlfriend’.

It was revealed in December that she keeps wardrobe costs down - and does her bit for the environment - by renting designer clothes for official engagements.

According to the Daily Mail, she pays £9.99 per month to loan out pricey outfits for events, rather than buying them outright.

The stylish PR executive reportedly uses the site My Wardrobe HQ to hire out looks - including a blue-and-white check ensemble she wore to meet the Queen.
