Carlo Aquino never intended to keep baby a secret
18 Sep – After surprising many with news of the birth of his first child, Carlo Aquino recently stressed that he never intended to keep the whole thing a secret.
As reported on ABS-CBN News, the actor who spoke to the media about the birth, stated that he and girlfriend Trina Candaza did not consciously keep the pregnancy a secret, only that they didn't post anything about it.
"Even when we go out, although masked, there are people who still recognised me and took pictures with us," he said.
Aquino also stated that he didn't think too much into sharing the photo of baby Enola.
"It was a blessing. Why would you hide such a great blessing and happiness in your life? I didn't post it for others. I posted it because I wanted to. Tina and I wanted to share our happiness," he said.
The actor stated that he is currently on a break from work to spend more time with his baby.
"It's a big deal because these babies, they grow up so fast. So I want to cherish every moment with her," he added.
As to whether he and Candaza will tie the knot soon, Aquino stated that they would like to focus on being the best parents to their child for now.
