Carla Abellana calls for adoption of dogs in city pounds

22 Oct – Carla Abellana is urging for the public to help save rescued dogs by reminding people that these helpless creatures are in danger of being euthanised.

As reported on PEP, the actress recently went on Instagram Stories to share about PAWSsion Project's recent success in rescuing 37 of 83 remaining dogs in the San Jose del Monte city pound, and wrote, "Did you know that according to the law, Aspins and puppies that are caught and locked up in City Pounds have to be euthanized every month?"

She then congratulated PAWSsion Project's founder Malou Perez and the group for their effort, and appealed her many followers to "Adopt Don't Shop".

On the other hand, Perez revealed that the reason why they could only save 37 of the remaining 83 dogs at the San Jose del Monte City Pound was due to the limitation of the group's shelter in the area.

Perez added that dog adopters who are interested to bring these dogs home can go to the City Veterinary Office of San Jose del Monte in Bulacan.
