Carla Abellana among six PH stars nominated in Vietnam
16 Dec – Carla Abellana is ecstatic to be among the few Filipino actors who are nominated at the Face of the Year Awards in Vietnam.
The actress, who was nominated in the Favourite Foreign Actress category yet again for her role in the Kapuso series, "Because of You", recently took to social media to urge fans to support her and her drama.
"Please please please vote for me online as your FAVOURITE FOREIGN ACTRESS and for "Because of You" as your FAVOURITE DRAMA," she posted.
Aside from Abellana, the said category also listed Heart Evangelista and Jennylyn Mercado as contenders for their performances in "Juan Happy Love Story" and "My Love from the Star" respectively.
Meanwhile, their fellow co-stars Rafael Rosell, Dennis Trillo and Gil Cuerva are also competing in the male category.
The Face of the Year Awards is a collaboration between TodayTV Television Channel and World Film Magazine, held with the aim of "honouring the faces of cinema and television who have made many outstanding contributions during the year, and at the same time, created the most prestigious annual event among the film and television awards in Vietnam."
