11 Oct – Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino recently admitted that they were surprised to find out that their reunion movie, "Exes Baggage" was a big success at the box office.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the two stars who appeared at a Q&A recently, stated that they did not expect that the movie would make more than P200 million worldwide, with Aquino even making a bet with his friends that it would only make P60 million the most.
"Thank you so much to those who support the movie," said Aquino.
On the other hand, Panganiban admitted that she was confident in the project and their performance, although the reception and love that the movie got really overwhelmed her.
The movie, directed by Dan Villegas, reunites the two stars known fondly as CarGel to their fans as a former couple meeting again two years after their breakup.
It made P71 million in its first three days, and went straight to hundreds of million in its second week.
