CarGel would love to collaborate again

17 Oct – After the success of their reunion film, "Exes Baggage", Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino stated that they would love to work again in another project.

As reported on Rappler, the two stars who are known by their tandem CarGel by their fans, stated that there hasn't been any offer for a follow-up movie, though admitted that it is nothing unusual at this time of the year.

"It's already October, so it isn't common during this time of the year. The year is ending, so projects are ending. Usually they start on January to March, so it's impossible to do another project this year," said Panganiban.

As to whether there will be a sequel to "Exes Baggage" seeing that the ending was not conclusive, the couple said that it was done so intentionally not because they wanted part two, but because it was the best way to end the movie.

"All three of us just didn't like the original ending because it was too cheesy and maybe too far away from the characters. We didn't want to sacrifice the story just to please the audience," she said.

However, Panganiban and Aquino said that they have no qualms reprising their roles as Pia and Nix if needed be.
