Cara Delevingne is to host and produce an all-female practical joke show for upcoming streaming platform Quibi.
In each episode of the currently untitled show, the model/actress and a group of female accomplices will wreak havoc by executing a new stunt or practical joke which ranges from the ridiculous to the extreme, putting themselves in "unwieldy and unpredictable situations in the process".
"I am so excited to be partnering with such a revolutionary streaming service like Quibi and cannot wait to unleash some necessary mischief," Delevingne said in a statement. "As someone who watches so much content on my phone, this feels like such a perfect partnership."
The series will be produced for the streaming service by ITV America's Sirens Media, with the company's president Jessica Sebastian serving as executive producer.
"Cara's an icon in so many ways, and it's a privilege to partner with her to develop something that authentically encapsulates her unique energy and sensibility," Sebastian added. "As far as I know, a series in this space with this level of female guidance and representation, both in front of and behind the camera, is unprecedented, and we're ecstatic to bring this new take on the genre to the ideal platform in Quibi."
The 27-year-old isn't the only fashion star to have their own show on the short-form video-streaming platform - designer Alexander Wang recently announced he would be the host of Potty Talk, in which he will interview celebrity guests in the toilets of exclusive events. Each episode will feature him alongside a guest host acting as bathroom attendants while they interview stars and take part in unusual games.
Quibi is set to launch in April 2020.
