Cara Delevingne Gives Us A Lesson in Mixing Floral Prints

Cara Delevingne is on the road promoting the Suicide Squad movie, and she’s looking pret-tay good. The model and actress was spied leaving a hotel in London on her way to a screening of the film. Her outfit of choice? This fantastic floral number from Fausto Puglisi’s Resort 2017 collection.
The dress has a mixed floral print and a pleated leather panel, with a matching floral jacket. Cara also sported over-the-knee boots, and a lacy bra top finished the look. Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, who have been outfitting Delevingne as she promotes the film, have been trying to create a high-fashion superhero vibe for the model. “Not only were we inspired by fashion in different eras for this promo tour — ’60s mod, ’70s punk — but there was always an element of an elevated, chic superhero in each look, everything from mesh to a thigh-high boot to a camo print,” Zangardi told the British newspaper The Telegraph of the style strategy for Delevingne.
