21 Oct – The Russo brothers, known for their work in the "Captain America" franchise, and TV series such as "Arrested Development" and "Community", are producing their first Chinese language movie.

As reported on China Film Insider, the duo recently launched "Journey to the Dream", the first movie from Joe and Anthony Russo's Anthem Pictures, although they themselves couldn't attend the launch event due to other work engagement.

The movie, which has been described as a "dream-like fable" stars Song Jia, Cao Bingkun, Elaine Jin and "Our Times" actor Darren Wang.

"We are honored to serve as executive producers on this movie, we could not be more excited about it. We couldn't be more proud of the screenplay," said Joe Russo, in a video message all the way from Atlanta.

Meanwhile, Anthony revealed that the screenplay was written by Zhang Chong ("Driverless", "Full Circle"), who will also be directing the movie.

"[Zhang] has written one of the best screenplays we've read in a long time and he has an amazing vision for the film that we're very excited to support and help bring to audiences and bring to the screen," he said.

Expect to see more Chinese works from the Russo brothers, since through their new venture, Anthem Pictures, the creative duo will concentrate on creating Chinese-language movies for release in China.
