Canyon Cove apologises to Sunshine Cruz over rude staff

7 Nov – The management of Canyon Cove Hotel & Spa in Batangas has recently apologised to actress Sunshine Cruz following rude comments made by one of its employees during her stay there.

As reported on Push, the issue sparked when Cruz, who was recently in Tagaytay with her children and boyfriend Macky Mathay, expressed her anger over a certain Canyon Cove staff named Marjorie Mojica who went online to talk about her, and called her snobbish and crazy, while referring to Mathay as her "bald" companion.

Cruz, who responded to the post on Facebook, expressed her frustration, saying that the resort should train its employees to be polite, and slammed the said staff for not respecting her privacy as a paying guest.

She also added that she had to tolerate the resort's poor service, including waiting for two hours to receive ice and water, and their failure to deliver pillow and blankets to her children.

Following her post, the Canyon Cove Hotel & Spa released a statement online, saying, "The management of Canyon Cove Hotel & Spa values the privacy of all our guests. We sincerely apologise for the unprofessional behaviour of our security guard and delayed service. Please be rest assured that this is an isolated incident and we will not tolerate such acts from any of our staff.

"The entire security team have all been taken to tasked. Again, please accept our sincerest apologies."
