Candy Lo may have to move to a smaller home to cut cost

14 Apr – Candy Lo expressed in jest that she might be calling the hotline that has been recently set up by a Hong Kong charity organisation specifically to help those who are emotionally troubled by the pandemic.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer-actress, who made an appearance at an anti-pandemic packs distribution activity recently, admitted that she was severely affected by the current situation, as her work has been suspended since mid-January.

"The work in mainland China has been halted, and I lost a six-digit income. Even the wine and beauty salon businesses are greatly affected, but I still have to pay tuition for my son," she said.

Candy stated that she is now planning to move in to a smaller house to reduce the expenditure.

"It's all about cutting costs and embracing a healthy and positive attitude," she said.

As for son Jordan who just completed four years of college, Candy stated that she originally planned to bring the whole family to attend his graduation ceremony in May.

"But they have cancelled the ceremony because of the severity of the pandemic," she stated.
